5:43 pm - new zines

I have been busy working / writing on a new zine since February. The content has been coming along nicely & I think I have enough stuff written up now, to put the issue out. So as soon as I have enough 'free time' I will be typing up & laying out the zine. This issue is going to be Rebel In Magenta #17 and its going to have a lot to do with turning 30 and what that did to me (my thoughts, changes in life, thinking back. etc). I'm really excited about this issue.
I also recently started writing more things that will not fit into this zine, but fit into another zine. Which is why I have also planned to make Dirty July #2 and this issue will have 3 different stories all having something to do with the month of July (issue #1 was not a concept zine like this,but I did explain where the title came from!). I'm also very excited about this as well. I am thinking about putting the zines out together as a two-pack. So I'm just waiting on time. I'm gonna be laid off soon, so I should be working on these zines a whole lot within the next month or so!! Yay!!

A few years ago (apparently, I didn't realize it actually was that long ago!!!) I made a community for ohio zinesters ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) ohio_zinesters and I just checked on it and someone joined! lol I forgot about it and never actually did anything with it, so I am now. I just edited the style & profile and now I just need to get the word out, so if ya wanna help spread the word that would be great. I don't wanna post about it in other communities cos I think that's kinda wrong, unless its ok, I dunno. Anyhoo help spread the word!! lol

I am currently working on a new zine. This is going to be a one-shot zine called "How Nirvana Changed My Life" and its gonna be about how nirvana changed my life. (ha ha ha) basically about how music and zines made me who i am today and a journey through my life since kurt cobain died. it should be very interesting and now i just need to get off the damn internet and start writing it up!!

this is the zine's myspace. i have my own personal myspace too. (I am friend #1 on the zine space).
BTW, I had a baby January 4th, so I have been extremely busy being a mom of two. I hope to start working on a new issue soon tho.

I mailed in a copy of "Hanna's Pink Pajamas" to microcosm for the zine yearbook. I've never done that before, so we'll see what happens. I really don't see my little 24 hour zine being picked to be in the yearbook, but hell at least I actually tried! Really, I don't know if it'll make the final cut or not. I'm just not getting my hopes up or anything. I just thought it'd be fun to do!! LOL

Hanna's Pink Pajamas my 24 hour zine is complete!! I started the zine at 4:30pm and finished it at 11:30pm!! The zine was nameless until it was just about complete. The title comes from my daughter (that'd be Hanna) and when I was about done she was in her pink pajamas. So there you go! All the stories in the zine kinda go together. They include: the death of my cat, all the crazy landlords I have had, what I thought was stress, & events that have happened during the summertime. Fun zine.
